VESID update as of 7/15/02
1) NYC Mental health providers receiving VESID dollars for Supported employment services with contracts that have lapsed:
- Those of you who have performance-based programs, contracts with the city Department of Public Health, or other arrangements and do NOT have an active or current contract, VESID has assured us that they have "an agreement to provide 6-month funding at current levels for SE services".
- Letters will be sent to each provider shortly to provide confirmation of contract extensions, or short-term contracts for some NYC providers. This letter will include details concerning reimbursement.
2) Pending Request for Applications: VESID is currently completing what they expect to be the final version of the Supported Employment Application (RFA). They are actively working with the fiscal authorities to finalize this. When complete, Stakeholders will be notified of the release date and the application schedule.
